My hair totally loved the Davines MELU Shampoo right from the first use. My hair looked healthier, softer, and deeply moisturized instantly. The shampoo itself is super hydrating, but when paired with the conditioner and serum from the same range, my hair literally dances to my tunes. There’s noticeably less breakage, and brushing through my hair has become so much easier.
What I really love is that it cleanses the scalp well without stripping away moisture or leaving it dry and flaky. Even my ends don’t feel dry like they usually do after a wash. My ends are dry, but they didn’t look split before; however, when I use this shampoo and conditioner, the split ends immediately become visible. My hair gets tangled, and it’s clear that it doesn’t moisturize the ends at all. At the same time, my scalp gets oily from it.
Previously, I used the OI line and it was wonderful, so I expected that the shampoo and conditioner for long hair would suit me as well—but they didn’t. I’m extremely disappointed with this product.

Long time Davines consumer!I have ling , thick, naturally wavy hair. Got this because notice my hair was brittle ( menopause/ thyroid) with split ends. Used this , it did seem that it strengthens my hair. NO split ends BUT my scalp feels a weird tingling sensation after 4 uses of this. I only wash my hair 1 a week. Didn’t notice my scalp sore until much later after a few uses. I’ll keep it but won’t order this again!
I’ll stick to Love and NOUNOU for extra moisturizing and nutrition. I switch back and forth between these two as seasons changes.
